Head of IT Infrastructure

JSC Georgian Card is looking for a Head of IT Infrastructure to join our team.

As the Head of IT Infrastructure at JSC Georgian Card, you will lead and oversee the design, implementation, and management of the company’s IT infrastructure. You will work closely with business units and technology teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all systems. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on expertise in infrastructure, cloud technologies, and operational excellence. What you will do:

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure teams, ensuring efficient operations and high performance;

• Define and implement infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals;

• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure infrastructure (on-premise and cloud);

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning;

• Establish and maintain monitoring and observability frameworks to ensure system reliability and performance;

• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies and solutions;

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize system performance and deployment processes;

• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives;

• Define and enforce infrastructure standards, policies, and procedures;

What you have:

• 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, DevOps, or System Engineering, including leadership roles;

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, or related field;

• Strong leadership and team management experience;

• Deep understanding of infrastructure architecture, networking, and cloud technologies;

• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration;

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;

• Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset;
