Senior DevOps Engineer

JSC Georgian Card is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

As the DevOps Engineer in JSC Georgian Card, you will work closely with development teams and business units to ensure reliable, secure and scalable delivery of our software systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure and ensuring system observability and stability. If you are a proactive, analytical and team-oriented professional who can build efficient automation processes and support high-availability systems, this position is for you.

What you will do:

Handle multiple infrastructure and automation tasks simultaneously;

Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment;

Implement and maintain monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system visibility and reliability;

Write Bash/Python scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks;

Administer and maintain Linux-based systems with strong OS-level expertise;

Embed security scanning and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps practices);

Package and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes;

Collaborate closely with development teams to improve deployment processes and system performance;

Participate in troubleshooting, incident management and root cause analysis;

Contribute to improving infrastructure architecture and operational standards;

What you have:

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in DevOps, System Engineering or related roles;

Bachelor or Master Degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science or related field;

Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation;

Strong knowledge of Linux system administration;

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes;

Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana;

Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python;

Understanding of DevSecOps principles and security best practices;

Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking and cloud concepts;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; communicative, flexible, team player, a quick learner, with can-do attitude and independent initiative, creative and analytical thinking;
